New OpenG packages released

Posted on Friday 16 September 2005

Today, we released Builder v1.0b2, Package Builder v0.1a3, and a PJM’s NI Motion bug fix patches (you can download these from Commander). PJM’s patch packages are very cool, not only because they fix some extremely serious (possibly dangerous) issues with NI Motion, but because the package is the first step towards a generalized LabVIEW patch framework developed by OpenG. The script VIs that are used in this package can be generalized and packaged as a utility for other patch developers to use in their patch package’s installation script VIs. I’m also excited about the PJM’s patches, because I have a customer project that can benefit from them.
