I’ll be presenting the following two technical sessions at NI Week 2007, relating to LabVIEW and professional software development using LabVIEW (abstracts are located here):
- Developing Commercial Software Applications in LabVIEW
- Managing LabVIEW Reuse VIs across the Enterprise
Also, my good friend and co-worker, Michael Aivaliotis, will be presenting the following technical session:
- LabVIEW XControl Design Patterns
I’m really excited about being able to present (and see Michael’s presentation). I’ve often griped that we need more advanced and interesting technical sessions at NI Week. I guess that this is our opportunity to help make a difference, along those lines.
If you can make it to NI Week, I’d highly recommend it. It’s a great place to network with other LabVIEW community members and see what NI’s working on. For example, you can meet and chat with me and Michael, as opposed to just seeing pictures of us in the NI Week marketing materials (below).

Also, Austin is a really fun town. It’s very hot in August, but a cold Shiner Bock helps lessen the pain

[Update] I neglected to mention that the other friendly faces on the NI Week 2006 banner are LAVA members (from left to right) mballa, Michael_Aivaliotis, PJM_labview, ashishuttarwar, yours truly, and njkirchner.
