This is the fourth article of “The OpenG VIs that I couldn’t live without“, a series of articles showing some of my favorite OpenG VIs. In this article we’re going to look at a really simple VI that is truly indispensable: “Create Dir if Non-Existant“. This VI doesn’t need much explanation — simply wire in a path to a directory and, if the directory does not yet exist, it will be created.

That’s all there is to it — short, but oh so sweet!
You can obtain this VI using VI Package Manager (VIPM). Simply select the OpenG File Tools Library (the oglib_file package from within VIPM), you will find the OpenG File Tools palette in the Functions palette under the OpenG submenu. (See here for a quick guide on how to install OpenG on VIPM.)
